European selection for Brendan Boyce

Barr and Mageean head strong Irish team team
A strong team of 41* athletes have been selected for the European Athletics Championships in Berlin on August 6-12.
Thomas Barr (Ferrybank) and Ciara Mageean (UCD) are the leading Irish athletes on the European rankings. They will be looking for strong performances and to lead a strong team of 41 aiming at progressing through the rounds and performing to their capabilities.  
21 women and 20 men have been selected.
Leon Reid (Menapians) is provisionally selected pending the outcome of the IAAF transfer process.  

The following athletes have been selected to compete at the European Athletics Championships in Berlin from 6th to 12th August.
