Primary Schools Challenge

The Donegal primary schools this year will be held on June 2nd again at Finn Valley and marks the 40th anniversary of what has been an exciting and superby organised ocassion . It had its beginnnings in Mc Cumhaill Park ,Ballybofey all those years ago and now offers the opportunity to the 190 schools in the catchment area to offer the children under their care the possibility to become involved in the many disciplines that is the sport of athletics . The response continues to grow and the local organisers are grateful to the numerous principal teachers who have responded positively both at local level where trials have been organised and to those schools who enter direct where there are no local area heats . The event over the years has involved many of todays county stars in a variety of sports .
