New PB for Ward

Ian Ward travelled to Watford BMC (British Milers Club) track meet at the weekend. Ian looking to get the standard for the 1500m European Juniors, whilst there were numerous 1500's Ian racing in the last of the evening, being paced through the 800m in 2.06. Ian settled well, looking comfortable at the bell and the pace being wound up from 1000m, with 250m to go Ian hit the front to come home the winner. Setting a new PB in the process 3.05.55. Ian will now stay in London for ten days to train at the world renound Pace training camp based in Teddington training with the likes of European Indoor 3000m Champion Mo Farah, Moses kipsiro 2009 IAAF World Cross Country Championships, Silver Medal Abraham Chebii (KEN) IAAF Golden League, Berlin 5000m, 2nd and Micah Kogo (KEN) 2009 Parelloop 10k, 27:01, World Record holder Road.

On the Domestic scene the Buncrana 10km took place on Saturday last, a good turn out for the annual race a flat course apart from a small incline at 7km, Cliodhna Dunne have a great run winning the Senior ladies with a time of 41min Gloria Donaghey getting 1st O-50
