Brian Doyle Sets a New Club Record

Brian Doyle set new club and county record in the 60m indoors at the Scottish indoors with a time of 6.87.Brian finishing 4th in a very competitive race. Getting back to form Brian will race in the National Indoors Belfast at the weekend.
Also at the Odyssey arena the Ulster Juveniles will take place with a number of Finn valley athletes taking part.
Pauric Mc Laughlin 3rd in the district C schools Cross Country, Pauric who runs for St Eunan’s college Letterkenny was 3 sec behind Christopher Johnston and 7sec behind race winner and also running for St Eunan’s Dan King. St Eunan’s winning the team will now progress to the Ulster schools.
The club would like to extend their sympathy to the Lar O’Byrne’s Family (Clonliffe Harriers) Lara who past away during the week was an icon of Irish athletics, died earlier this week at Francis Hospice, Raheny after a long illness. He had just turned 80 last December. May he rest in peace.
